rampant scenarios

Jan. 23rd, 2006 | 07:44 am

Before I tried to telephone the listed number for Dorian Bagley in Aurora CA many scenarios past and future played out in my head.
Surely the idea of actually finding Leah was mentally stimulating...
I began to give real thought to how I'd begin to speak with her, what did I have to say to her anyway?
It became clear to me that writing her emails, or IMing would be an easier way for me to capsize my thoughts for expression, than speaking.
Being men's daughters is a loaded idea...Women are that too, before they are girlfriends or wives or divorcees, and are as well men's daughters even if they don't hook up attach or detach from men later in their lives.

One woman I once was acquainted with, a certain soap opera, dishwashing soap commercial actress from NYC sojourning in Rome named Alison, explained that women with absentee fathers or emotionally detached fathers often end up seeking LOVE from emotionally detached men. No doubt, the cocktail of parental relationships influencing present day attractions exists for both sexes , and is also influenced by the developed or undeveloped maturity of any individual becoming involved with another...not to leave out MYSTERY of course...which is the most exciting of influences in attraction.

Sometimes the real 'Finding Leah' plays out in story form, or story board images in my head. Other times it plays out in chapters, vignettes, and I recognize that eventually I'll have to put the chapters or story boards into some kind of order. I realize that I'm attracted to composing endings that are fictional rather than biographical, which eases somewhat the stress of not having biographical aspects reaching any sort of fruition.

I like the story beginning with a unifying experience and haven't decided whether it's best to use an end unifying experience to begin, and then flashback to the chronological beginning, which as the story goes, was an ending....and yet the true beginning to the story. ie. if not for the beginning being an ending there wouldn't BE a story to end.

I discovered that Dorian Paul Bagley's birthday is December/21/61. He's lived in Englewood, Centennial, Littleton, and Aurora CO. My intuition tells me that he and Leah split up ( hard for me to imagine her married for more than 20 years ).

The phone number I was given for him is no longer in service, but I have another number for him that screens calls where I have to leave a ten digit phone number (which I don't have), so I'll have to borrow one from a volunteer who will simply give him my email address, if indeed THAT number is still his and he could be bothered with helping anyone looking for Leah.
